About US

What do we do?

We design, build and program Unmanned Aerial
Vehicles (UAVs), including autonomous drones, and participate in competitions.

We are an official University of Calgary club and one of the newest successful engineering competition teams.

Although it is named after the University’s engineering department, membership is in no way exclusive to engineering students. We have students from various departments or even high school and membership is open to everyone willing to contribute. In 2020, we are hoping to attend the SAE Aero Design West competition.

Our Core Values

Sharing

To share our knowledge and passion for UAVs through outreach events.

Learning

To provide a unique learning environment for our members to gain hands-on experience in their field of interest.

Motivating

To create interest and motivate others to build a career in aerospace.

Our Start

We started in February 2015 by the name of Copter Club. The club focused on the design and flying of multi-rotors.
