Schulich UAV is looking to inspire individuals regardless of who they are or what they know. Don’t let the Schulich name dissuade you, we have a diverse team, every faculty is welcome and the membership is not restricted to University students. We even have high school students, hobbyists and professionals helping us out.

First, follow us on our social media pages to make sure you don’t miss out when we are recruiting! When we are actively recruiting, fill out our application form and check our website, Facebook page and Instagram to see if we are holding any recruitment events. Our recruitment usually begins in the last week of August and is ongoing until the end of September.

Available positions

We are currently recruiting for the 2022/2023 academic year and we are looking for people to help fill the following roles:

  • Business Team Members – Are you looking to gain some relevant experience with marketing, accounting, logistics, sponsorship and fundraising or leadership? Joining the business team is an excellent way to do so. This sub team is quite young, there is lots of opportunity for leadership and the structure is very flexible.
  • Electrical Team Members – If you’ve got a passion for electrical engineering, firmware development and control systems or just want to mess with hardware and figuring out how things work, then joining this team could be for you!
  • Software Team Members – Coding, programming and designing the framework for how our projects really function. If you want to be an essential part of our process and develop your technical skills, then this is a great role to be in.
  • Mechanical Team Members – Building planes and anything that flies are fun especially when it gets big, literally. Learn Aerodynamics and airframe structures and develop a problem solving mindset are what we do. Get started on mechanical engineering in fun and challenging ways by joining this team.
